Your brain data
belongs to you.

At NextSense, we believe your brain data is yours alone. That’s why we’ll never sell your data, and sharing is always off by default.

Three Pillars to Data Privacy

You own it

You own it

Your brain and sleep data belongs to you. You control how it's used and can delete it at any time.

Sharing is off by default

We never collect or share your data without explicit consent. Every choice is yours to make.

Ethics-first approach

We partner with leading neuroethicists to ensure your mental privacy is protected.

Your questions
answered clearly.

How is my brain data being used?

Only to improve your sleep and deliver a seamless experience. The NextSense app processes data on your device to power features like sleep tracking and brain-responsive audio. We don’t send brain data to the cloud unless you opt in. If you choose to do so, the data is anonymized and stored securely.

Can Smartbuds read my thoughts?

No. EEG measures the brain’s electrical activity, which can be used to determine brain states, but doesn’t capture or interpret thoughts.

What if I change my mind?

You can always change your sharing preferences or choose to delete your data entirely. We respond to all privacy requests within 2 weeks.
